TOURING -
The southwest of Scotland is a very pretty part of the
country with quiet roads. Explore this part of the country from
the Kirkton Inn, travel the coast and view castles Culzean,
Dunure and Kelburn. Visit the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Catch the ferry to the Isle of Arran or Northern Ireland.

FISHING - Salmon -
Ayrshire has 3 good salmon rivers, the Ayr,
Doon and Stinchar. Dalrymple stands on the banks of the Doon.
The river is Scotland's secret gem. Until recently the mouth was netted,
but since this practise ceased, the numbers caught each year have
been on the increase. Being the second fastest flowing river
in Scotland means the fish can smell the fresh water from
far out at sea. The water level is also controlled.
